“We’re looking for enthusiastic, hands-on people that want to help us inspire the kids and help keep them from making the wrong decisions so early in their lives,” said CHOICES Director Rhonda Kalish.

The non-profit organization manages or participates in numerous community events throughout the year, including Fall Fest, Red Ribbon Week and the popular summer film series known as Movies on the Beach.

They also administer numerous programs throughout the year including Youth Leadership services, including Peer Mediation, as well as the Early Intervention Program.

Most recently, CHOICES has initiated the Parent Project, a “top down” interactive multi-media approach to helping parents recognize and address problems in their children’s lives.

CHOICES stands for Citizens Helping Our Island Children End Substance Abuse.
